This is an important painting for me. First of all because it is a beautiful project, it is personal and hey! I’m in it with meu amor!
As for the title… Shades of Cool is a reference to Lana Del Rey’s song. I thought it was nice to use this title for my painting as obviously she is an inspiration to me but now it is time to paint my life! So it is like a transition for my art.
Used wax pastels and pencils to start and mainly oil pastels.
