Christmas is coming

Here’s my new (Glee related) painting! It’s been a while… I know. I’ve been super busy lately (which means no time to paint :( ) but yesterday I decided it was time to relax and have a little break from my studies. And it feels good!

As I can’t wait  for Christmas, I chose this scene from “A Very Glee Christmas” with Santana and Finn. I’d really like to show you something else like for instance a beautiful landscape. But I have so much fun painting portraits that… well I try not to think too much. ;) By the way, I was so excited to share it with you that I didn’t take that much time to finish it… So I consider this painting a good exercise to practice but I know there are still lots of details to work on.

Brittany & the Unicorn

For once I’ve painted without caring too much about sticking to the original photo. If you happen to see it, don’t be surprised. I’ve wanted to represent her as a cute cartoon character. Well… Kind of! So I’ve added some changes to the portrait like the light, the colors… I guess it has inspired me! Brittany is definitely one of the funniest characters of the show (I mean… Glee! Again…). She’s like an innocent little girl. So I thought this pic was perfect to show her childish side.

I swear I’m not obsessed with Glee! Ahah I’ll paint characters from other TV shows next time… Like probably my all time favorite couple: Vanilla Bear and Chocolate Bear from Scrubs!! :D

Asian F

So two days ago I watched Glee’s latest episode… a really really good one if you like the show. “Asian F” focuses mostly on Mercedes and Mike Chang.

Harry Shum Jr proved he can both sing and dance (he’s an incredibly talented dancer). As I just loved this episode, I’ve decided to paint a Glee cast member… Here’s a male portrait for a change. ;)

In “Asian F”, Mike’s father tells his son that he must quit dancing because of his bad grades: he got an A- in chemistry… which is the equivalent of an Asian F!! Hence the title. So he struggles to admit his passion and stand up for what he believes in.
