Hey guys! I’m now on… Pinterest! I’m super excited ’cause it’s a fantastic place for creative people. It gives me tons of new ideas!! I’ve always been into travel sketching but never shared my work here… probably because it’s really different from what I usually do… Don’t really know actually, but finally I have a reason to show you this on this new space. :) If you guys like my sketches, I’ll share them here too. Here’s the link to my Pinterest profile: http://pinterest.com/undecidedcha/

Feel free to repin my pics, follow my boards and comment! :)

Peñón de Ifach

20 x 20 cm

Wow! I’m on fire! Ahah 2 paintings in 3 days??! I can’t believe it myself.

I made this one in 1 hour or so, which is pretty fast. It’s my first oil pastel painting on canvas. I chose a small one because I just wanted to give it a shot. It’s not my best work but it’s really special to me. This rock is called el Peñón de Ifach. It’s located in Calpe, Spain (near Alicante), where I used to spend all my summer holidays as a child. Brings back lots of memories. :)

Since I started working with oil pastels, it’s like I can’t get back to watercolor anymore. I just love their vibrant colors and waxy texture.

‘Ia Ora Na

16,5X12,5 cm (6,5X4,9 inches)

Finally… a seascape after months of posting portraits. I REALLY hope you like it…

I made it yesterday while watching tv. So it’s not the most technically perfect painting but I’ve reached my goal! ;)  ” ‘Ia Ora Na ” basically means “hello” in Tahitian.

Have a wonderful tapati/dimanche/Sunday!

Dreams of Summer

It’s been a while since my last blog… I haven’t had time to paint for almost 2 weeks… Yes, it’s a little frustrating to me. But I’m gonna take some time to relax and paint something new this week end. In the mean time, here’s a watercolor I made last year. Guadeloupe is such a beautiful island. I want to live there someday… Unlike a lot of people, I don’t like Fall… it means Winter’s coming and I H.A.T.E cold weather.

Summer, I miss you already…
