I have this good Canadian friend from WordPress… Cat. She’s a VERY talented musician, poet, artist with a BIG, BIG heart. We’ve been talking about making a collab together and last week we decided to work on a piece inspired by Damon from The Vampire Diaries.

Listen to the amazing electronic track Cat made. It’s called “Blue Eyed Boy”. I finished the painting yesterday and thought it would be cool to keep the same title since it’s a collab!

Dr. Sam Bennett

I’m not gonna lie, painting Taye Diggs as Dr. Sam Bennett (from Private Practice) was REALLY relaxing. He’s so handsome. I couldn’t help but smile too.

I mainly used Caran d’Ache water-soluble color pencils this time. I bought a box of 12 pencils a while back and I gotta admit, they’re just great.
